Glass Block Window Installation Estimate Options :

Here are two options for obtaining a quick and accurate estimate for glass block window installation. If you cannot use these options, please call our office at 412-731-8559, and a representative will arrange an in-home estimate for you.

Before you request an estimate, consider a few important factors. A solid glass block window is nearly indestructible and can endure heavy impacts, effectively blocking out severe storms, noise, and intruders enhancing light intake indoors. Besides solid glass block windows, we provide various options for airflow, including furnace pipes, dryer exhaust, and power fans, among others. This brings us to the next question: Do I need air vents in my glass block windows? This is a common inquiry for every order. We recommend installing at least one air vent on opposite sides of the room, if possible. When opened, they can facilitate a cross breeze. The damper your basement is, the more airflow you may require. However, while the new double-pane bubble seal air vents highly effective, they can pose a risk if placed too close to the ground. Dirt and mud can splash up and continuously dirty the screens if there's only soil beneath your windows. We suggest using white rocks or other solutions to prevent your air vents from becoming a liability. Feel free to text a picture of your openings, and we will be glad to discuss everything you need to know!
